Ideas on Finance

What is life insurance? Does that mean you have to have life before you can qualify forlife insurance? If so ,then my neighbours son across the road probably will not qualify because in my eyes he has no life. How can you give life insurance to someone who displays no life by sleeping most of the day and playing on his computer and watching tv most nights. That's not a life. Life insurance must be for people like me who have a life , go to work ,have a group of friends attend social community events and contribute to the community.

The boy over the road is a liability to the community .Its one thing to insure our goods but we cant insure our neighbourhoods against who lives there or how the neighbourhood develops.

Think what the quotes would be like though. They would be enormous due to the thousands of lazy non contributing youths in the country.

That's all silly talk at the end of the day insurance is a business and they need the odds to be in their favour it makes sense.

I blame the parents they should take more responsibility for how their children behave. Kids didn't carry on like they do now when I was young. We went to cubs ,guides, scouts, rangers and then conscription took care of our youth years. It disciplined us to take responsibility for our actions.

Its a funny old world we can take out insurance for property and for life and illness. We ant take out insurance against other things that are life changing namely relationships. I guess that would just encourage people to fight and split more often to claim their insurance reward though. So I guess its a good idea that relationships are not insurable.

Well my own lad should be due in any time now .His mam left us for another man four years ago. He didn't want to go with her so hes here with me. Yes four years, he was twelve when she left.I contribute to the community by staying at home and taking the place of his mum. I make sure he's fed every day. Eh up ....that's him now .

'Hello son , brought your dad his beers?'

'Yeh and our tea'

'Ah good lad,fish n' chips?'

'yeh like what else .duh!...Whats on telly tonight dad?'

' the footballs on tonight son'
